Quetta: Traffic Jams at Sabzal Road have become a Norm

Quetta: Long hours Traffic Jams at Sabzal Road have become a norm for the commuters and motorists, learnt Balochistan Voices.
People faced several hours of Traffic Jam on the intersection point of Sabzal road and Brewery Road, on Wednesday.
Motorists and Commuters in public transport vehicles remains stuck for hours due to Traffic jam while some took to social media to express their anger.
The intersection point of Brewery and Sabzal Roads, which is known as Golimar Chowk, is the route used by patients to reach BMC Hospital. Traffic Jams force the patients to suffer and wait for hours in the unending traffic jams.
People travelling from downtown Quetta to A-1 City and other adjoining areas also face the inconvenience of traffic jam on daily basis.
Major reason for the Traffic jam is the entrance of heavy vehicles on Sabzal road and other nearby roads on day times.
Traffic around Arbab Karam khan road and Joint road also faces problems due to Traffic jams on Golimar Chowk and Sabzal Road.
Mr. Jamil Ahmed Baloch, a Student and resident of Brewery Road told Balochistan Voices that “I reach college late and miss my important class every day due to heavy traffic jam. Government needs to tackle the problem of Traffic Jams on emergency basis to save my time.
Mr. Ayub Shahwani, a local resident of Sabzal road, told Balochistan Voices that “We often get late to go office and many times I have missed official meetings due to traffic jam.”
Mr. Rehmat Ullah, another resident, told Balochistan Voices that Traffic jam menace is caused by illegal parking on road sides which badly impacts daily routine of people.
People of Sabzal road and Brewery road have requested from government of Balochistan to take serious action and solve the problem of traffic jam on permanent basis.
