Pillion Riding: Causing Inconvenience to People

Quetta: People are facing a lot of problems due to ban on pillion riding in Quetta city, learnt Balochistan Voices.
Home and Tribal Affairs department of Balochistan had imposed ban on pillion riding before Eid ul fitar in the wake of increasing acts of Target killing of Security Personnel.

People travelling on Bikes term Pillion riding as unjust behavior with people from middle class families.
Mehboob Baloch, a student of Geology in University of Balochistan, told Balochistan Voices that the Balochistan Government has made a decision to increase the woes of common public.
Mr. Baloch further added, “Motor cycle is a vehicle of student and it has been snatched from them.”
Mr. Sameer Khalid a local resident of Quetta told Balochistan Voices that “we travel to city from Baleli one far area of Quetta, and we often used to travel on bike for and other basic needs, but now a days we are compelled to pay more than 150 rupees to auto rickshaw from one side to come and fulfill basic needs.”
People have requested from Balochistan Government to take action against culprits and lift Ban on pillion riding and ease the problems of under-privileged people.
