Chagai: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested deputy assistant director of NADRA Dalbandin from his office on Friday, learnt Balochistan Voices.
According to official sources Deputy Assistant Director of NADRA, Zahoor Ahmed, was apprehended on charges of issuing Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) to afghan and Iranian nationals on large scale.
The detained officer was shifted to FIA Headquarter Quetta for further interrogation.
In recent pass several NADRA officers have been arrested on charges of issuing CNICs to Afghan Refugees. In more than one case NADAR officers have been convicted and have been awarded imprisonment sentences.
