Financial Reporting Workshop Conducted in Quetta

Quetta: Two-day workshop on “Reporting on government Finances” was conducted at Quetta Press Club for working journalists of Quetta, on Monday and Tuesday.
Over a dozen working Journalists participated in the workshop to enhance their abilities and learn new techniques about financial reporting.
Participants of the training were told that lack of basic skills about financial reporting is a major hurdle for journalists who are the representatives of the society and it’s their duty to work with enthusiasm and interest.

Video Clips of senior journalists were also played which contained tips about finance budget reporting.
Participants appreciated this opportunity and also learnt a lot of new technologies about budget reporting.

Asif Baloch from Vsh News told Balochistan Voices that “it is really great opportunity for me to come and join this training. I’ve learnt a lot of techniques about finance reporting.” Mr. Baloch further added that such training workshops must be conducted in other far and lung areas of Balochistan for journalists as well.
