There are many areas in Balochistan where a lot of young people experience the pressure to use drugs, drink alcohol and smoke. There is a lack of good clinics and hospitals in Balochistan. Areas such as Quetta, Khuzdar, Hub Chowki, Gwadar, Lasbella, Panjgur, Turbat, and many other regions have no adequate facilities to treat an individual. At the same time, if treatment is not sought in time, the physical and emotional health deteriorates. The addict becomes dependent on the drug to the extent that they cannot stop using it. The availability of these drugs plays an integral role in the perpetuation of addictive behaviors within families. Besides the poor, rich people also use different sorts of drugs, just to get relief from depression. However, Balochistan suffers the most due to drug addiction.
