Nok Kundi: Chairman District Council of Chagai, Mir Dawood Notezai, has demanded that livestock owners in Chagai district should be provided immediate relief.
He said that Chagai has been badly affected due to drought and it requires a relief package. He appreciated provincial government for conducting need assessment survey in District Chagai.
“Water table is declining in the district and thus government must construct more dams in the area,” said Mr. Notezai. “Relief efforts for livestock owners should be carried out on war footings,” he added.
District Chairman appealed from Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief Minister of Balochistan to announce a drought relief package for Chagai on urgent basis.
