Dalbandin: Residents of Killi Malik Rasool Baksh Sumalani staged a protest demonstration in front of Dalbandin Press Club and Deputy Commissioner’s Office against QESCO for long hours of unannounced Electricity Load shedding, on Tuesday.
Protestors complained that the daily life of people is badly disturbed due to load shedding. Shopkeepers who depend on Electricity to earn their livelihood are suffering from mental illness because they left shop to home night times with empty pockets. They can’t bear their family expenses in such a critical situation due to unjust behavior of QESCO, said protestors.
Mr. Muhammad Bakhsh Baloch a resident told Balochistan Voices that they pay the electricity bills on time every month but there is no electricity in reward. They are disappointed from the unjust behavior of QESCO.”
He further added that the only Transformer of their town is burnt before 20 Days due to electric Shortage; it is still not repaired which impacts badly the daily life of people. They have contributed 200 rupees per head to repair the burnt Transformer but the collected money is not enough.
Protestors complained that their town is like a dark graveyard at night times. They are afraid of thieves and Snatchers at night times.
They requested the Government of Balochistan to take serious action and release funds on urgent basis for repairing of Transformer to make life easy for them.
