Tailor Masters Increase Dress Sewing Rates

Quetta: Tailor masters have increased rates of dress sewing in Quetta and different cities of Balochistan, learnt Balochistan Voices.
Mr. Murad Lehri, Local resident of Quetta, told Balochistan Voices that he was disappointed when the tailor master declined to take his cloths and sew it for Eid ul Fitar. He belongs from a middle class family and not able to bear different expenses. “The tailor masters beat around the bush to collect more money from poor people on the occasion of Eid and the people are compelled to pay more money,” he said.
 Mr. Waheed Reki, Local resident of Dalbandin, Told Balochistan Voices that the tailor masters have started looting the people with double hands in the holy month of Ramzan. The Government has chanted slogan to provide relief to the people during the Holy month, but there is no check and balance for tailor masters and they are the master of their own minds.
The Tailor master claim Rs. 600 to 1500 per suit from people, claimed the citizens while talking to Balochistan Voices.
Zakir Baloch, a Tailor Master said that it is very difficult to work on day times during Ramzan. We are working from Aftar time till Sehri and we will accomplish the already taken orders of people. It is very difficult to work in hot weather due to long time load shedding and that’s why we can’t take more orders, he said.
The local people requested the Government of Balochistan to fulfill its duty sincerely.
It is duty of District administration to fix rates for cloth sewing and bound the tailor masters not to disobey the rule and not to increase the sewing rates as compared to Government rate list.
