Quetta: A fund raising campaign was carried out on twitter for treatment of Tanveer Baloch, on Saturday.
Tanveer Baloch is paralyzed and can’t stand on his legs after suffering a backbone injury in a car accident 5 years ago. He needs support of people to get money for his treatment. In order to collect funds for his treatment, twitter campaign was carried out using #Donate4Tanveer hashtag.
This campaign was led by Rubina Ibrahim Zehri, Social Media Ambassador of Balochistan Voices using the platform of Balochistan Social Media Forum.
In few hours, this topic Became 2nd top trend in Pakistan. Dozens of twitter users actively participated in the trend to make it a success.
Multiple people committed to donate for Treatment of Tanveer Baloch by transferring money to his bank account. However that’s not enough and still more funds are required for his treatment.
