Dalbandin: Mobile Internet Service is suspended in Dalbandin from last four months on the instructions of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on security concerns.
Suspending of internet is causing unemployment for private employees and small businesses are also facing big losses, said Mr. Mehmood Baloch a Local trader of Dalbandin while talking to Balochistan Voices.
“Internet is only service of communication with each other in Pakistan and international level. People get connected with different foreign countries in seconds to deal matters.” Mr. Inayat Ullah Reki Vice-president Anjuman-e-Tajiran Dalbandin told Balochistan Voices.
Mr. Reki lamented that Internet is a source to keep aware the people about different news and current situation during journey and sitting in their homes.
We are unable to carry out our business and daily based trade with other far and flung areas traders. Fruits and other vegetables are getting damaged due to long time storage. Due to no internet service we are dealing with a chain of Hurdles, added Mr. Reki.
It is very hard to do homework of Computer class without Internet service, told Mr. Waseem Baloch a student of 10th class while he was talking to Balochistan Voices. We often use internet websites to collect notes during preparing for examination. Now a days it is hard to solve questions and scientific formulas.
The local journalists are also unable to send news on time to concerned channel and newspapers.
Different companies are collecting a huge amount from district Chagai on monthly bases on the behalf of internet service but have failed to provide fast network.
Traders, students, journalists and other people told the Balochistan Voices that it is unjust behavior that we are paying a big amount of bills and easy loads for 3-G and EVO Internet service on monthly bases, but companies are not providing internet service with ease.
They requested from concerned quarters to ensure internet service activation and resolve their problems.
