Balochistan Assembly to Follow Up on Passed Resolutions

Quetta: Balochistan Assembly has decided to follow up with federal government departments on the resolutions passed by Balochistan assembly.
This was decided in a meeting chaired by Speaker Balochistan Assembly, on Friday. The meeting was attended by Opposition leader Maulana Abdul Wasay, Deputy Opposition Leader Zamarak Khan Achakzai, Asim Kurd Gaello, Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination, Secretary Balochistan Assembly and other government officials.
Addressing the meeting, Speaker of Balochistan Assembly said that implementation of the resolutions is must for the essence of democracy.
First Chief Secretary Balochistan will write letters to the head of the federal departments asking them to take notice of the resolutions passed by Balochistan Assembly.
In the next step, an 11-member follow up committee will be constituted which will soon meet with the heads of Federal Departments for implementation on resolutions of Balochistan Assembly.
According to the details released by the office of the speaker Balochistan Assembly, 110 resolutions have been passed by incumbent Balochistan Assembly since June 2013. The breakup of the resolutions according to the subjects is as follows:
