Government Announced to Build Additional Classrooms in Hajika School

Quetta: Education Department of government of Balochistan has announced to build 4 additional class rooms and one toilet in Government Boys High School Hajika in Surab Town, on Thursday.
Earlier, Balochistan Voices had reported that students in Government Boys High School Hajika are studying in open sky due to shortage of class rooms.
Mr. Aziz Ahmad Jamali, Additional Secretary education, took notice of the matter and made inquires about the problems faced by the said school.
Government Boys High School Hajika, having EMIS code 03105, was found to have shortage of classrooms.
“We have added four classrooms and a toilet block with a total value of 4.7 million rupees for Government Boys High School Hajika,” Mr. Jamali told Balochistan Voices.
He further clarified that these constructions will be the part of the ongoing budget and tenders will be floated soon.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kalat Abid Saleem Qureshi also paid a visit to said school after it was highlighted on Balochistan Voices.
Residents of Hajika have expressed their jubilation on the announcement of construction of new classrooms. They have thanked education department in general and Mr. Jamali in particular for prompt action.
