CM Balochistan Announces Establishment of Cancer Hospital

Quetta: Chief Minister (CM) of Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, has announced to establish a cancer hospital in Balochistan. He also announced to establish a cardiovascular hospital in the province and Trauma Centers in all districts.
CM made this ground breaking announcement during the inauguration ceremony of ambulance service of Nawabzada Sikandar Zehri Shaheed Trust, on Saturday.
Faisal Edhi son of late Abdul Sattar Edhi, was the chief guest of the ceremony. CM Balochistan also announced Rs. 5 million for Edhi Foundation and rename hockey Chowk as Abdul Sattar Edhi Chowk.

CM Balochistan said “Abdul Sattar Edhi rendered incomparable services for the humanity and we have to follow his footsteps working for the welfare of people within our capacity.”
Rubina Ibrahim Zehri, Social Media Manager of Balochistan Voices had earlier led the campaign for cancer hospital in Balochistan last month. #ShaukatKhanuminBalochistan became the top trend in Pakistan as a result of the twitter campaign.
Campaign for a cancer hospital started when 21 year old student from Khuzdar, Rehan Rind, died while battling cancer. Balochistan Voices had also advocated for establishment of a cancer hospital in Balochistan.
