World Tourism Day is observed each year on September 27th, to highlight the importance of tourism.
World Tourism Day was first celebrated in 1980 by United Nation World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) to mark the anniversary of UNWTO. It is a milestone in the history of global tourism. It is the source of rising awareness among international community of the value of tourism, and its social, cultural, political and economic value. These things challenge the United Nation Millennium Development Goals to contribute for tourism to allow them to have their own goals.
Today several beautiful places are present, so definitely people will visit those areas. World Tourism Day is celebrated for the purpose to allow the people to visit such beautiful places with their interest.
